What is Counselling?
I work within the person centred approach, which works on building a trusting relationship between the client and counsellor, offering you, my clients, that space and time to talk in a private, confidential and relaxed setting, knowing that you are being heard and listened to, without feeling judged or that you are being given advice.
By talking about and exploring your own thoughts and feelings, it will help you to feel empowered to find your own way forward, to help you to make those positive changes in your life to enable you to reach your full potential.
Counselling can help you to manage and cope with:
Anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, stress, coping with life limiting and terminal illness, anger management, domestic violence, relationships, work-related stress, bullying, body image, eating disorders and much more.
'The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination.
The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change.' - Carl Rogers
"Life will bring you pain all by itself. Your responsibility is to create joy" - Milton Erickson
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a state of deep relaxation, whilst the body remains deeply relaxed, the mind will become extremely focused. I will use suggestion techniques which will aim to communicate with your sub-conscious mind. This is a gentle yet powerful way to help you make those positive changes you want in your life.
Hypnotherapy can be extremely beneficial in a number of ways, and is useful for helping you to:
Reduce anxiety, PTSD, overcoming stress, building confidence and self-esteem, OCD, fears and phobias, health anxiety, social anxiety, performance anxiety, weight loss, smoking, pain control, trauma, IBS and much more.
Emotional Eating & Hypnoband Program
We all at sometime or other let our emotions control what we eat. Do you find yourself craving for certain foods, comfort eating, eating through boredom, stress or feeling upset? Do you go on autopilot, picking and eating food without you realising it, or are you a binge eater?
If this sounds like you my program can help you.
I offer a 4 week program for individuals or small groups to help and support you to achieve your weight loss goals.
With my program there is no medical procedure, and I am not promoting a diet, the program is about simply changing your mindset and helping you identify your emotional eating patterns, and to help you change your relationship with food to help you to become more mindful and only eating when you are physically hungry rather than a negative emotion driving what you eat.
It will give you that positive lifestyle change with the help of hypnotherapy, so you can achieve the results you desire.
